British Legion–Bahamas Branch (BLBB) – Formerly The Bahamas Ex-Servicemen Association, the BLBB is a non-profit military organization founded in 1945 by Black Bahamian World War II veterans to preserve their experiences and legacies.

Registered under The Bahamas’ 2019 Non-Profit Organization Companies Act, the BLBB’s headquarters are in Ottawa, Canada. Since 1966, The Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) has overseen financial assistance to fifteen Caribbean branches, including The Bahamas.

This support provides monthly grants to needy WWII veterans and small widow’s grants to their spouses. The Bahamian Government also offers an annual stipend to help the local branch distribute these funds.
